About Sailaway Vacations
My passion for sailing began in childhood, spending countless hours aboard my father’s boat, creating memories that would shape my love for the sea forever. Those early experiences taught me that there’s something magical about being on the water the freedom, the adventure, and the precious moments shared with family.
Today, I’m the proud owner of a beautiful Bali 4.4 sailing catamaran, stationed in the stunning Marina Kornati in Biograd Na Moru, Croatia. Together with my wife and our three children (ages 6, 12, and 15), we’ve discovered the incredible joy of island hopping through the Croatian archipelago, visiting fantastic cities and villages, swimming in crystal-clear bays, and exploring hidden coves that can only be reached by boat.
These personal adventures have shown me firsthand what makes a sailing vacation truly special. It’s not just about the destination, it’s about the journey, the shared experiences, and the unique perspective that only comes from exploring the world by sea. That’s why I founded Sailaway Vacations: to share this incredible experience with families and adventurers who want to create their own unforgettable memories on the water.
